As a Missionary Evangelist, I've been privileged to travel the world, sharing the kingdom of God's message with thousands of people from all walks of life. As a prophetic voice, The Lord uses me to introduce the world to the living God, "unchurch the church", and help people walk in their God-given purpose. With over four decades of experience in Kingdom ministry, I've been blessed to have spoken to people worldwide, inspiring them to live up to their full potential in Christ.
My Story
Prophetess Sheila Martin Askew's life story is a testament to the miraculous and transformative power of the Almighty. At a young age, she experienced a divine encounter with the Lord, who healed her from a life-threatening illness and restored her vision through a remarkable angelic visitation when she was just sixteen years old, even before she had embraced salvation. Four months later, she wholeheartedly embraced the Lord's saving grace and was filled with the Holy Ghost.
From the age of eighteen, Prophetess Sheila embarked on her journey as a licensed and ordained minister. With over four decades of unwavering dedication to ministry, she has developed an extraordinary insight and profound spiritual sensitivity to the mysteries of the Kingdom of God.
Her ministry is a conduit to the Father's presence, and she is widely recognized as a respected prophetic voice in this season. Beyond her spiritual calling, she is an accomplished author, life coach, mentor, seminar workshop facilitator, behavioral analyst consultant, and crisis counselor.
Prophetess Sheila has received numerous accolades and awards, including the prestigious Woman of the Year for Outstanding Community & Humanitarian Achievement from the Mayor's office of Richmond, Virginia. She is also celebrated in the prophetic community as one of the distinguished "Prophetic Women Today" and has received honors like the Elizabeth Honors For Kingdom Mentoring and Shepherding. Additionally, she was bestowed with the Heart Of Gold Award by Dr. Henry L. Porter and the Westcoast School for Human Development.
Prophetess Sheila's dedication extends to serving as the State Director for the State of Georgia for the United States National Prayer Council. Her commitment to global communal and philanthropic causes has earned her multiple awards, honors, and platforms across the global stage.
Recognized for her tireless efforts in combating human trafficking, she was honored with the Pioneering Heart Award for her global work. Most recently, Sheila Martin Askew accepted the distinguished appointment by the United Nations as Ambassador For Peace.
Throughout her journey, Prophetess Sheila has been actively involved with various ministries, including her role as a Spiritual Counselor at the Bethel Bible Institute. She has also contributed significantly to the Centre of Theological and Ministry Preparation, where she imparted wisdom on prayer, intercession, spiritual warfare, and an in-depth study of Angels—a prerequisite for graduation at the Institute.
Her dedication extends to her roles on several boards, including My Sister Care International, a non-denominational para-church ministry for women, and her position as the Ministerial Team leader for several ministries having an emphasis on deliverance - by conducting conferences for churches and church leadership.
Prophetess Sheila's influence extends to the airwaves as well. She co-hosted a nationally aired weekly Christian television broadcast and has been a featured guest on prominent networks such as TBN, CBN, and Daystar. She is a sought-after conference speaker, a facilitator of seminars on deliverance and spiritual warfare, a behavioral analyst consultant, and a compassionate crisis counselor.
Continuing to heed the voice of God, Prophetess Sheila remains in high demand on various ministerial and professional life coaching platforms. She is esteemed as a leader of leaders, trusted by God to bring a message of hope and deliverance to nations.
Prophetess Sheila's life mission revolves around mentoring, inspiring, instructing, and activating lives and ministries in the prophetic gifts while equipping nations to respond effectively to the Father's call to His Kingdom. She is dedicated to serving with excellence, accompanied by demonstrations of signs and wonders, which she believes to be the destiny of the Church during this profound outpouring of God's grace.
